How long are therapy sessions?

 

Each session is 50 minutes.

 

How much does each session cost?

 

A 50-minute individual session is $125 + tax

A 50-minute couples/relationship session is $150 + tax

A 50-minute family session starts at $165 + tax, depending on family size

What types of sessions are available?

 

In-person sessions are available for people of all ages.

Virtual sessions via an online video service (similar to zoom) are available for those aged 18 and older.

 

I feel like my child needs support, will you see them?

 

Yes! I take on clients of all ages.  Working with children can often involve family and parenting sessions as well.  The specifics of the work with the child is not disclosed however you will be apprised of the general themes, worries, and concerns so that you may stay informed throughout the course of treatment.

How do I book an appointment?

Do you have parking?

Yes! There is free parking behind our building. You will enter from the door on the side of the building.

Is counselling covered by my insurance? 

 

Possibly! Many insurance companies in New Brunswick cover the services of a Licensed Counselling Therapist.  Please contact your provider to confirm the practitioners covered under your plan, as well as how much coverage you have.

 

Do you direct bill my insurance provider?

 

At this time I do not direct bill insurance.  I will provide you with a detailed receipt that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

 

How can I pay?

 

Payment is accepted via credit card, e-transfer, or exact cash.

 

Do you accept sliding scale rates?

 

I do accept sliding scale clients on a limited basis.  Rates are based on income and are not always available.  Feel free to contact me should this be the avenue you require to see if I have any availability for additional sliding scale clients.  

 

What is your cancellation policy?

 

I ask for a minimum of 24 hours (ideally more!) should you need to cancel your appointment.  Any no show or late (within 24 hours) cancellation will be billed half rate of the missed session.  When an appointment is missed not only does it affect yourself not getting the treatment you desired, it affects my time that was set aside to see you, and it also affects others who could have taken the missed slot.
